Full Time Marketing Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY: The Marketing Coordinator will create and execute strategies that promote the hospital’s services, build awareness in the community, and enhance patient engagement. This role involves working closely with hospital leadership, healthcare providers, and other departments to ensure that marketing initiatives are aligned with the hospital's mission and goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare marketing, excellent communication skills, and a desire to make a positive impact in the community.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with external marketing agency to develop and execute marketing strategies, campaigns, and projects. This includes coordinating the production of materials, overseeing timelines, and ensuring alignment with the hospital’s branding and objectives.
• Collaborate with department leaders to create informative content (print materials, advertisements, and digital content for campaigns, etc.) for patients and the community, which include promoting hospital services, programs, and events.
• Manage and maintain the hospital’s website and social media platforms to engage with the local community. This includes responding to comments, messages, or inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Engage with the community on social media by proactively posting, commenting, and participating in relevant conversations to maintain an active and positive online presence for the hospital.
• Serve as a member of the Employee Events Committee, assisting with the planning, promotion, and execution of internal employee events, celebrations, and wellness programs to enhance staff engagement and morale.
• Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and patient outreach efforts to ensure continued improvement.
• Organize and support local community events, health fairs, and hospital tours to raise awareness about hospital services.
• Help create internal communication materials to keep staff informed about marketing initiatives and hospital events.
• Maintain a marketing calendar to ensure timely execution of projects and campaigns.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in marketing or communications (healthcare experience preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft messages for different audiences
• Basic knowledge of marketing tools and social media platforms
• Ability to work in a rural setting with an understanding of the unique needs of a small, community-based hospital
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Creativity and the ability to adapt strategies for a smaller, close-knit community
• Knowledge of healthcare marketing trends and regulations is a plus
Physical Demands:
• Ability to sit, stand, and move between departments and locations throughout the day, including occasional travel to community events, health fairs, or offsite marketing meetings.
• Occasional lifting of marketing materials, event supplies, or promotional items (up to 20 lbs).
• Ability to use office equipment, such as a computer, telephone, and printer, for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating marketing materials and analyzing campaign effectiveness.

Work Schedule:
• The role typically follows a standard work schedule during regular business hours; however, occasional evening or weekend work will be required to support special events, community outreach initiatives, or urgent marketing needs.
• Monitor and manage social media accounts during and after business hours as needed to ensure engagement with the community and respond to inquiries or comments in a timely manner.
• Ability to manage time effectively, balancing marketing priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
