Meet Deke Steven Eberhard, M.D., M.B.A.
Born and raised in New Braunfels, Texas, Dr. Deke Steven Eberhard enjoys being a part of The Crossroads Community, where he continues to be a trustworthy, well-known doctor, assisting anyone in need.
One of the newest members to join Jackson County Hospital District, Dr. Eberhard, whose specialty is family medicine, immediately felt welcome by all. As a cancer survivor, he was diagnosed at age three and has been clinically cured since 1998. This led to him originally wanting to pursue pediatric medicine. However, while in medical school, he discovered he desired to treat patients of all ages--from newborns to geriatrics.
A double major, Dr. Eberhard earned his B.S. in both Kinesiology and Biology from Texas A&M University, his M.S. in Medical Sciences from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, his M.D. from the University of Medicine & Health Sciences, Basseterre, St. Kits & Nevis, and his M.B.A. in Healthcare Management from Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Additionally, he is an active member of the American Academy of Family Practice, as well as the Texas Academy of Family Physicians. His certifications include BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Dr. Eberhard is an avid outdoorsman. When he's not working, he enjoys hunting and fishing.
