With Jackson County Hospital District's Outpatient Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, you will receive an individualized treatment plan designed around your specific needs.
Our trained health care providers can help improve the lives of those that suffer from cardiac and pulmonary problems. Our multidisciplinary team focuses on exercise conditioning, strength training, breathing retraining, diet and nutrition, and emotional support services.
The plan is developed jointly with you and the healthcare professionals providing your treatment. The Medical Director oversees all patient care from start to finish. Most patients come for two or three treatment visits a week but plans are determined by progress.
Our patients experience improved self-confidence and increased involvement in daily activities. Through the combination of our staff expertise and our commitment to work closely with patients, we aim to reduce hospitalizations, increase independence and lessen complications of cardiac pulmonary disease.
